Sterilisers and Cleaning

When sterilizing your baby bottles, teats, breast pump parts, and dummies you can either boil them in a saucepan of water for 4 minutes, use a microwave sterilizer or bag, or use chemical tablets.    The risk with using boiling water is that you might forget about it and the pot boils dry and burns   - we hear about this happening all the time as mums need to buy new breast pump parts.    (Try putting a timer on your phone!)  Or an easy option is to get a Microwave steriliser, to help make things fast, convenient, and worry-free.    We don't recommend using chemical sterilization tablets as this can deteriorate breast pump plastics
